Rawalpindi: The lecturers’ and workers’ unions continued their protest Monday over the appointment of the District Training Authority’s (DEA) chief government officer and closed the company’s workplaces.
On Tuesday they threatened to shut all state colleges and workplaces.
The Punjab Academics Affiliation, All Pakistan Clerks Affiliation and different lecturers associations rallied in opposition to the Punjab Ministry of Training’s appointment of Azam Kashif as Chief Government Officer of the DEA.
The protesters led by Raja Aurangzeb, Raja Shahid Mubarrak, Raja Tahir and Shahzad Manzoor staged the protest on Murree Highway in entrance of the DEA workplaces and locked the workplaces.
